Now Onyx Punta Cana is located in Uvero Alto (Punta Cana), Dominican Republic. It is about 45 minutes south of Punta Cana International Airport.

REVIEW
This was the first All-Inclusive Resort that I went to. I went back in July 2017 after the resort had just recently opened. Going in, I had no idea what to expect and this was before I started my own travel business in February 2019. I had gone through a friend of a friend who provided us her services and helped us out with choosing the right place and the overall booking.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the concept of “All-Inclusive” right from the get-go. Not having to worry about paying for a single thing (outside and tips and potential excursions) once you were there made the trip the most relaxing and enjoyable. You can eat, drink, and for the most part, do all that you wanted.
We decided to do the Preferred Club which took you to a whole other level of luxury and options. We had our own dining options, lounge with snacks and drinks, our own personal butler, and our own pool and swim up bar with service. The bartenders and butlers were exceptional. We made friends with these two bartenders that absolutely made our trip memorable (one in which I still talk to ‘til this day). The layout of the resort was lovely as well and everything was within a 10-minute walk. There was a beautiful strip of white-sanded beach that led out into the water. Some of these resorts have a small area of beach, but this one was wide enough that you can play organized games and sports on it. Now the food was amazing! There were so many food options (two buffets, 7 a-la-carte restaurants, a sundae shop and a late-night burger joint). I never got bored of the food nor did I feel like I was eating the same thing every meal. And an extra perk for us, if everyone in your party was an adult, you could freely go between both the Now Onyx family side and the Breathless Adults-Only side. This gave us more dining options, another phenomenal pool and beach area, and some evening activities and events to attend.
I only had one issue during my time at the resort and it was with the restaurants. They had not taken my gluten allergy to the highest regard at a few of the restaurants, one of which served me something with soy sauce after explaining to him that I could not have any. The manager of the restaurant at the time came over to make sure everything was okay, and the rest of our dinner was fine. But overall, as a resort, it is definitely a place I would recommend to everyone. Having two sides of the resort (just like other locations I have traveled to and written reviews) provides you more options and more variety, and on a trip where it is all-inclusive, having more options is never a bad thing. The Dominican people were great and the experience we had as first-time all-inclusive guests was one for the books.
